Man ‘smuggling’ gold held at airport

A 34-year-old  Mumbai-based man has been arrested by the Customs from Terminal 2 of Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport while allegedly smuggling gold from abroad by concealing it in his undergarments.
A. Khan, a resident of  south Mumbai, was nabbed on 13th October night. Khan had crossed the Green Channel and was moving towards the exit of the airport. He was stopped and was found carrying four pouches in his underwear.
He is a driver by profession . Khan was produced before a holiday court on 14th October and was remanded to judicial custody till October 27.

He was arrested under relevant sections of Customs Act.
